Skating Association of Maine (SAM) would like to extend a sincere welcome to all players, coaching staff and families to the 2019/20 season.

Here at SAM we pride ourselves on the sense of community and family atmosphere that surrounds our association. We have programs to suit players of all ages and ability levels. We are family focused and community minded. We provide our membership with quality hockey instruction & leadership; we are committed to providing a safe, fun and developmental atmosphere for our players.

SAM strives to make hockey an affordable sport for all families. Our mission is made possible by obtaining corporate sponsors along with many fundraisers throughout the year. By working together in this common goal, we are able to subsidize ice bills, provide scholarships, supplies, equipment, uniforms and training/education programs for players and staff.

SAM is a volunteer organization, and it is our members’ support that makes this organization function. Our fundraising activities are the way we help keep our costs down to our members and we depend on our members to help with this effort.

We have some great fundraisers coming up this season and look forward to your participation.  Expectations for the 2019/20 season are contained below. Additional information will be posted at the rink, on this fundraising page and team reps will be sending out reminders and invites to get involved.
