Lady Moose - Girls Mid-Season Development Team
2014-2015 Season
Goal: Provide girls the opportunity to play on and against all girls team(s).
*Playing with female peers and the benefits that provides.
Time: Target start date is the first part of 2015, January into the end of March.
Levels: Girls Development (a Non MEAHA League Team) of 12U and 14U (based on interest of SAM
members)
Team: One Team ( No Limit on the number of players)
Coaching: Head Coach will be selected by the SAM Coaches Advisory Committee. The Head Coach will
select their coaching staff.
Cost: About $185.00 (based on schedule (ice time) and number of players)
Payment due in full by the 1st practice of the Girls Team Practice.
Season: Are scrimmages/games within the MEAHA associations across the state, practices and one girls
tournament (in or out of state – TBD).
Projected Schedule* for 2014-2015 Season: 1 Tournament & 4-8 games (home ( @ The Ice Vault) and
away play arrangements vs. MEAHA associations in the state) & 5-8 practice ice at The Ice Vault.
· Final coaching staff & team will be approval by the SAM Hockey Steering Committee
· If there is a player/team question please direct them to the SAM Girls Director, SAM Hockey Players
Representative and/or SAM Hockey Coaching Director.
Key Dates for SAM Lady Moose Girls Mid-Season Development Team:
· December 1st - Sign ups open for the Mid-Season Development Team.
· December 29th - Last Day for Team Sign Ups
· By January 5th Team Players will be notified by the team Head Coach and posted on SAM website.
· Games start in January along with Practices– (Payment Due at first practice)
